Our lodge is located in the heart of Sabi Sands. Sabi Sands and is renowned for its leopards, leopards, leopards... Off-road driving allows us to get very close to predator sightings.  Unforgettable, close up wildlife encounters include sightings of Africa’s Big 5: lion, elephant, rhino, Cape buffalo, as well as giraffe, a variety of antelope, hippo, and zebra. This exclusive private game reserve is set along the banks of the largest lake in the Sabi Sands. Our accommodation offers game viewing opportunities right from the lodge. Animals drinking at the water’s edge are visible from the lounge, dining areas, and private decks. The lake setting also attracts a large bird colony, making for a bird-watching paradise. The lodge is integrated into the natural surroundings with its large wooden deck and a rim-flow swimming pool. We will do 2 game drives per day--one in the early morning and one in the late afternoon.

 *This is not a birding trip clients are welcome to photograph on their spare time at the lodge until their heart is content. We will stop for some birds, just not every bird. 

Getting there:

 You will need to fly from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit, this is the closest commercial airport, from there we will transfer as a group (approximately 2 hours)--very similar to what we did for Tiger Canyon.
