Join Denise Ippolito and/or Donna Bourdon as we explore South Africa a bit more. We will be staying at Tiger Canyon Lodge for 7 nights. At this breathtaking lodge set into a remote canyon we will concentrate our efforts on tiger photography.
Then we will head to our second private game reserve for 3 nights. At this private lodge, each suite comprises a bedroom with en-suite bathroom and private patio with outdoor seating overlooking the mountain landscape. Here, we will focus on rare & nocturnal animals such as elusive aardvarks, porcupines, civet cats, and more. We will also encounter cheetah, giraffe, Cape mountain zebra, African bush elephants, and large herds of springbok, gemsbok (oryx), eland, black wildebeest, Blue crane, Red hartebeest, and blesbok. in addition we should see smaller predators like the aardwolf, bat-eared fox, and black-footed cat. This second reserve is also home to both white rhinos and the rare, desert-adapted black rhino.
Both locations offer very private game drives and very private and upscale accommodation. These locations both offer rare opportunities to photograph cheetah outside of the vehicles.
* The animals are not adapted to humans and traffic so they may be skittish. We will need to exercise patience and caution to get close.

There is a 4 night add-on for Sabi Sands (leopards) available for this trip. This will be sold separately.

* The drive-time to Tiger Canyon is approximately 2 ½ — 3 hours. I’ve included the ground transfers. If for some reason you do not make the group, ground transfers you will need to pay your own transfers to the lodge, this can be quite expensive.

Deposit Information: A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 due now to hold your spot. Final payments are due December15, 2027 via check or wire transfer only, fees on both ends are the responsibility of the participant. Credit cards will not be accepted for any payment other than deposit. Full payments are always welcomed via check or wire transfer . All checks made payable to: Denise Ippolito LLC. Please note that I will do my very best to secure you a room mate; if I am unable to secure you a room mate then you will be charged for a single supplement.
