My Florida East Coast workshop sold out months ago and I have had a lot of requests to offer a second workshop. I decided to offer a second workshop that coincides with my same exact dates . This one will be led by Donna Bourdon. Donna and I will work together to find the best locations and also to get the two groups together whenever possible. Some locations will need to be small groups only but others are more flexible. If you are on the first trip and would like to move to the second trip to be with a friend/roommate let me know. But at this time I cannot add anyone to the first trip. Thanks.
Florida East Coast Bird Photography Workshop —Feb 27- March 3, 2022-$1799.00
Join Donna Bourdon for five days of bird photography on the Florida East Coast. There are tons of great birding spots in Florida and we will hit quite a few of them, Exact locations will of course be determined by the birds—after all they are in charge! Daily schedule will be an early morning shoot followed by a break then head back out for a late afternoon shoot. A detailed file will be sent with hotel, gear and clothing recommendations. Our base will be Vero Beach Florida. Informal image review and post processing will be as time permits.
This workshop will be led by Donna Bourdon. These dates will coincide with my Florida workshop dates. Donna and I will be in close communications to find the best bird photography opportunities for both groups.
We will have a Meet & Greet in the evening before the workshop start date at 8pm in the hotel lobby.
In-the-field instruction includes:
Learn how to think like a pro in the field and see situations before they arise.
Birds in flight and how to capture them successfully.
Image composition and image design
Exposure, how to read your histogram effectively.
Camera settings for birds, including f-stops, shutter speeds, focus modes and much more.
Gear, including tripod, head etc…
Creative bird photography including pleasing blurs, silhouettes and more.
