The front mesh pocket - I like this feature since my Sea to Summit bag that I have been using doesn’t have an outside pouch and I am always in need of one for water bottles, etc.. This Patagonia bag is a bit heavier at 1lb 10.8 oz. as the Sea to Summit is only about 13 ounces. Both are good for travel since they both they lay flat in your suitcase. The Patagonia bag feels a lot more durable. I took off the waist straps and compression straps off the Patagonia bag. The top roll area is stiff but I am hoping it loosens up with use.

A zip-closing mesh interior pocket - great for keys and other small essentials.

This is the roller bag that I use most of the time now since switching to Sony. It holds all my Sony gear plus a few extras. It fits on almost all planes in the overhead. It never even gets a second look when carrying on board as it is much smaller than my other roller bags.
